Cameron Montgomery - What about the fee?

Where would the money come from, if there is a fee for Prospective membership.

If there is a cost, it would come from the SFUO general budget, not from individual students.

Seamus Wolfe adds a point of information. The CFS executive made it clear that they would not be expecting that money last year and from the contact they had this year, it was fairly clear they would be in the same situation. Although they can't assume anything, it is likely there will be not cost, says Wolfe.

So is this why there was a need for the CUSA payoff, er, I mean extra contribution towards Pandamonium?

Excuse me?
CUSA paid by far the bigger amount of a joint SFUO/CUSA venture (Pandamonium) AND both campuses were alloted the same amount of tickets at the same price.

The above statement doesn't even make a lick of sense, especially since the SFUO, in the end, didn't even provide any more of the funding (leaving CUSA still the largest contributer).

It makes perfect sense. The SFUO was never obligated to pay this money. It was proposed, and the best arguments for it were, "come on."
Why would we give CUSA money that we are not obligated to other than to get on their good sides?
Understandably it would be nice to give away money, but there are rules that need to be followed.
...perhaps next time that we want to sketchily give away money, the executive can produce more than hearsay.
